This extruder is mainly used for the compounding, filling, reinforcing, pelletizing and modification of plastic granules, directly producing pipes, profiles, films, sheets, etc.
Low speed and low shear are the most points for such twin screw extruder. Anyway, such typical machines, presently, are just successfully applied in PVC process and some other special processes.
Along with the deep and full understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of twin screw extruder, we developed the new screw profile to decrease the serious intermeshing forces and hence to make it possible run at higher speed.
